Fragrance Testing

Arclabs Fragrance specilizes in Fragrance Analysis

Our testing uses the latest technology, equipment and algorithms to determine what makes up the fragrance.  In addition, our seach and compare software allows you to compare your spectrum to hundreds of commerical fragrances

How do we test?

Each sample is "finger printed" by GC/MS.  We have developed simple, robust methodology and software that can be used to compare hundreds of fragrance compounds  in each sample to the reference gold standard atained from the manufacturer.

GC/MS is a technique in which each compound is first separated and then ionized to generate a mass spectrum.  Both time and mass are using to determine match quality. We further generate a complete summary of the filtered information in the form of a "Fragrance Spectrum".  In addition, the intensity of each compound is measured.  This allows us to know how close the concentration is to the original.  This assures you the sample has not been diluted with alcohol or other perfume solvents.

 Does this add cost?

Our prices are slightly higher then on-line stores, but you are assured what you pay for is what you get.

Can you test a sample of perfume that I allready purchased?
