Fragrance Spectrums

 A fragrance spectrum is detailed list of what is contained in the fragrance as determined by GC/MS.  Each sample is first separated by a retention index by the Gas Chromatograph.  Then each individual compound is ionized and mass spectrum determined.  After data collection, the data is analyzed by a sophisticated algorithm which is able to filter the spectrum for noise and correctly identify the signiture compounds in the fragrance.
